By using the term genie, the cryptocurrency refers to the genie from the classic fairy tale, which in this case means a virtual currency that is not subject to fiat currencies.
While it is not yet clear when the next cryptocurrency will be launched, the first genie is now widely anticipated.
Geniecoin has already made its debut, with a price of around $12,500 in February, according to the CoinDesk blockchain price tracker.
In July, the crypto also made its initial public offering at $2.25 per coin.

The first genies is a relatively new cryptocurrency with a market cap of just $100 million.
But unlike most cryptocurrencies, its blockchain is open source, and the crypto’s team is already working on the next generation.
The next genie could make it easier for people to invest in the future of education.
It’s worth noting that this cryptocurrency has no physical product.
The genies are not currently in use at colleges or universities, but they could one day be used to provide free education.
It is also unclear when, or even if, students will be able to use the genies in a classroom setting.
